Dear Mr Goldsmith, would it be at all possible to have a breakdown of recommended percentages of the P.A.C.E. System required throughout different times in the season: eg. When to do how much of P and when to do how much of C and E respectively please? Thank you very much!!!
Hi Elzette,
Thanks for your email.
Sorry – I have a strong belief that each individual swimmer needs a unique, personalised program and for that reason I don’t put training plans on my blogs or in my articles.
There is no one method, magic formula or “one size fits all” way of coaching swimmers, so I don’t believe in publishing training programs.
You need to understand your own strengths and weaknesses, your own recovery capacities, what your competition goals are and how much time you available to train to design an effective training program and even then it will change almost daily.
Thanks for your support.
